Getting into the swing of things (no pun intended)

So I wrote this on August 9th, and for some reason it wouldn't post. It saved it somehow, so I thought I might as well go ahead and post it now...


Things are finally starting to slow down a bit in the Anderson household (which now includes me). I feel like I'm kind of getting used to living in the new house and we got our new appliances today. And this weekend is the first weekend since we moved in that we won't have any guests. So I'm definitely ready to have a little r&r in the new place and also finally put some decorations up- we're pretty much unpacked, but the walls are completely bare.

Also, we had our first coed softball game tonight and I also played for another team last night. I'd forgotten just how much I miss softball. Granted, I'm guilty of taking it a little too seriously sometimes, but I think I've finally found a good balance between being cometitive and just having fun. Plus, the people we're playing w/ are a lot of fun. So I'm really looking forward to the coming weeks because I feel like I'm going to have more to live for than just work and working on the house. Finally a hobby out here!!! Anyways, I'm just really excited to be getting used to the new home and starting to play some ball again. Oh, and we're going to try and get a dog again this weekend (the one we're looking at was sick last weekend and couldn't come out of her kennel bc she was on antibiotics). But... that's my life in a nutshell right now!
