Well, after an incredibly long weekend of driving- 16 hours total- Aaron and I made it back to Colorado safe and sound with lots of great memories from the weekend to sustain us until our next trip home. We saw lots of Aaron's family and lots of our friends and had such a great time. It was so good to see everyone and catch up. I'd like to say I forget how much I miss everyone, but I really don't. Living out here is wonderful and I really love Denver, but I'm constantly reminded of how much I miss everyone at home.
On a brighter note, I only had to work one day this week! I'm so excited to have today, Thursday, and Friday off. Tomorrow is my new student orientation for grad school and I plan on getting my books and student id and all that fun stuff. Oh, and maybe I'll have another go at getting a dog. I'm not going to get my hopes up, but I've definitely been ready for a dog for a while. So we'll see how it goes.
