I'm not dead

Okay, okay. I get the point already. Enough people have told me to update my blog lately. So I guess I'll waste some time tonight doing it to appease the masses (really just two people, my mom and my fiance who both already know what's going on in my life...go figure). Anyways, life has been pretty crazy lately. Two weekends ago I had a four day weekend at home and it was pretty wonderful. I had my wedding shower at my church and had such a good time. I sometimes forget how lucky I am to have so many people care about me. And then I go to my old church where all the old ladies watched me grow up and I feel completely loved and accepted. I know it sounds cheesy, but it really is the truth. I'm truly blessed to have them in my life.

I also got some other wedding stuff done while I was home, of course. But going out Saturday night was probably the most fun. I saw a couple close friends who I hadn't seen in almost a year and I really had fun w/ getting to see them again. It was just so great being able to hang out w/ all my old friends from home and relax. Plus, we basically just spend the whole time making fun of one another, so it's always a comedy of sorts.

So that was two weekends ago. I got back last Monday and then spent one evening the whole week at home. Between meetings at work and friends coming into town, I was hardly ever home. That made for a completely exhausting week and it didn't get too much better over the weekend since Aaron and I cleaned our entire apt. from top to bottom, worked out, did our grocery and WalMart shopping, and stuffed all our invitations. Did I mention that I babysat for a couple at work for 8 and a half hours on Saturday? So obviously, I'm in desperate need of some downtime. I'm working on that tonight though. I'm having to rest the next couple days since my bachelorette party is this weekend. I'm pretty much counting on getting no sleep when the girls are all here. And they'll be getting here on Thursday. So I'm gonna have to get to bed early tonight while I can.

Well I guess that's pretty much the rundown on my life right now. Wedding invitations will be in the mail TOMORROW!!! So that's a huge relief to get those out. Now we just have to work on all the little stuff. Oh joy.
